How long is the licensee agreement?
We have established each term at 20 Years. This is in order to provide each principal the opportunity to build their business over time and to generate long term wealth creation. You are also permitted to sell your agency to a SignSite Group approved purchaser when the time is suitable to you. This provides you another way to develop your agency and generate further profits long term.
How much can I expect to earn?
This will depend upon the effort, enthusiasm and professional dedication each principal invests in their business. Like any business, the more you apply yourself the more likely you are to succeed. The great thing about our business model is that the risk to the principal is very low. You are not exposed to plant and equipment, factory facilities and extensive staffing. If you employ sales staff to support your agency there is generally no limit as to how much you can earn. As a successful sole operator it is generally the case you will earn significantly more than you would if you were to be employed in a successful sales function working for another business. Success inevitably depends upon you and what you deliver for yourself in your own business. If you believe in yourself and your ability to deliver than this business is definitely a great opportunity for you. As we set sales goals for you we expect that each agency would make at least $100,000 gross profit per annum to maintain their license and the business' viability, we do over time encourage our principals to make much more than this depending upon their region and their personal circumstances.
What costs are involved in the business setup?
Our business model is a low cost, low risk set up. As opposed to a franchise model where you have considerable establishment fees, high start up costs, significant capital investments in plant and equipment, facilities and staffing, our model is focused upon your exertise in sales. You are not exposed to operational costs nor are you exposed to ongoing fees like royaly payments. In a franchise or independant business model you are completely exposed to the entire business and its costs and in many cases these costs can bring you personal exposure. SignSite Group licenses are low risk with an initial investment of $39,000 which provides you with your Prime Market Area, a two week extensive induction and training program in our facilities, SignSite Group induction pack, software systems establishment, Laptop and Tablet, Access to our systems and procedures and much more. We also offer to approved applicants payment plans over time for the agency fee to assist you in starting your own business with SignSite Group.
Are there any ongoing / hidden fees?
No. We do not have any hidden or ongoing fees in our SignSite Group model. Unlike franchise models where you can pay on average between 6 and 10 percent of your gross turnover every month, we do not charge you for your success. There are entry and exit fees to the business. There will also be your own marketing (Approved by SignSite Group) costs you will be able to facilitate in your Prime Market Area. SignSite Group will offer you additional support services at a cost from time to time you can choose to select such as account management support for your growing business and other sales support related services. You will manage your own costs from your gross revenue for your own business.
After signing the agreement, how long before I can begin selling?
This depends upon each approved agent's circumstances. Generally, from signing the contract and facilitating training you will be in your own SignSite Group business selling within approximately four to six weeks from signing your agreement with us.
Is any prior knowledge required?
Most definitely. This business is only suitable to those that have a strong understanding of signage and have confidence in signage products and services. Whilst each individual has varied levels of experience, it is expected you will be confident with signage products and services, understand general products and services and be able to prove you are currently or have previously worked extensively within the signage industry. Our model is suitable to industry individuals currently looking to develop their career opportunities and to generate more wealth for themselves such as people who are or have been employed as sales staff, account managers, estimators or project managers within the signage industry. Our model is also well suited to signage business owners and associated businesses like shopfitters who wish to reduce their risks, generate wealth and not have to deal with the complex and costly operational side of the business.
How many hours a week do I need to work within the business?
Unlike franchises, there are no set hours for you to work each week. We measure performance on your results each month. This business model is about providing you the opportunity to develop your business at your pace taking into consideration our sales goals for you each month. You must maintain service excellence with every client and provide prompt and professional attention to each project as required, otherwise it is up to you where you work and how frequently you work. We provide for a flexible work / life balance.
Do I have to work with my SignSite Group license exclusively?
No, as a principal you are not required to work with SignSite Group exclusively. As a principal for SignSite Group you will benefit from our industry knowledge and experience, our intellectual property, our systems and procedures, our operational facilities and staffing, our marketing and our brand and strong reputation. You and those associated with your business will not be permitted to sell or work with other signage and associated product businesses, you will exclusively work with SignSite Group for the products and services we offer the market. You are welcome to manage and be involved with other businesses and employment opportunities as long as your key performance indicators are met, you maintain service excellence with all SignSite Group clients and you perform all functions for and on behalf of SignSite Group professionally at all times.
How does product get produced for the client and how does the sales cycle operate with a SignSite Group business?

As a SignSite Group principal, you will do what you do best which is to generate opportunities in the marketplace, build client relationships and service clients with their signage needs whilst working with our set procedures and systems. You will utilise our estimating cloud platform for each sales enquiry to request from SignSite Group's service centre a cost estimate be generated for you to present to the client for their consideration and approval. We utilise economies of scale with our factory hubs to minimise costs and enhance product deliverables and the client experience. SignSite Group looks after everything from estimating and project management right through to production, R&D, installation, and much more. SignSite Group complies with local, State and Federal laws and takes responsibility for each project and the risks associated with that. Each month your business will invoice SignSite Group for your applicable agency commission which will be paid within 14 days from the end of each month to your business. Your business is not exposed to the risks associated in designing, producing and installing supplied products and services.

The signage industry is now heavily regulated and in many cases requires a suitable builders licence to design, manufacture, install, repair and maintain signage products and services, how does this affect me and my business with SignSite Group?
SignSite Group is compliant with Local, State and Federal Government is licensing and regulations. As a principal for SignSite Group you benefit from our regulatory compliance which allows you to sell products and services with our licenses and insurances as outlined by us. Unlike a franchise or an independent business where you are required to hold a builders license for your business and also have an appropriate nominee license holder in order to comply with the various legal requirements in conducting business, with SignSite Group we look after this for you. This provides you a significant advantage over those industry businesses in your prime market area that are currently trading illegally and risk significant fines and possible imprisonment. At SignSite Group we believe there is only one way to do things, that is the right way.
Can I employ staff to assist me in my business?
Absolutely, and we encourage you to employ sales and marketing staff to support you grow your business over time when the time is right. Your PMA will be large and offer you significant opportunities, with support staff you will be able to service more clients and have the opportunity to generate more wealth for yourself and your staff.

What are the areas available for a SignSite Group business and do I need to have a dedicated office location?
We focus upon establishing quality principals for our licensees in the Prime Market Areas (PMA's) available at that point in time. Each PMA is generated to provide our principals with an area they are exclusively based from. This is the area where all new business leads generated for that PMA from online activities and marketing will be directed to for each agent. Whilst all agents are not restricted to selling only in their PMA, all agents are not permitted to engage in local marketing within another agent's PMA. Our PMA's are large and provide you a great opportunity to develop your business over a long period of time. You are not required to maintain a dedicated office location, it is your choice should you wish to. We do require you to at a minimum maintain a designated SignSite Group approved location and serviced office with an appropriate service provider. These costs are generally minimal and allow you to register a professional address for your agency for marketing and identification purposes, this also allows you to hold a location where should you need a meeting room or place to work you can access one when required. We expect you will reside within your PMA or be within close proximity to it, you will work from your home office or appropriate location, again our business model is about a work / life balance and creating efficiency.
